Overview
Tech Electric, founded in 1984, is a full line electrical distributor serving clients in the construction, industrial, commercial, water treatment, educational, governmental and utility industries. In the last 40+ years, Tech Electric has supplied electrical equipment and supplies for some of the most recognizable landmarks in the Midwest like Miller Park, Summerfest, Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee County Zoo, Potawatomi Casino, Bradley Center, Children's Hospital, We Energies Corporate HQ, and several UW schools.
In addition, Tech's engineering department provides arc flash studies and coordination studies for medium voltage construction projects with short lead times and high quality results to meet our clients needs.
Our History
Big Title

1984
Ron Wick, Shirley Wick and Dave Wick start Tech Electric Company on a small shared office and warehouse space in 76th and Good Hope Rd.

1985
Keith Wick departs Milch Interstate Electric Supply and joins his parents and brother Dave at Tech Electric.

1987
Tech Electric Co. relocates to N. 125th and Villard Ave. in Butler.

1996
TEC becomes a Siemens distributor in Southeast Wisconsin.

2018
Tech Electric continues to grow needing additional storage space to continue offering staging services to our customers. We relocate our offices and warehouse to our current location at Henry Stark Rd. in Menomonee Falls.

2025
Victor S. Bande and Brian Pierce join our ownership group.

1984
Tech Electric Co. starts selling Westinghouse Electrical products to contractors in WI.

1986
Tech Electric Co. starts selling S&C Electric Company Medium-Voltage products in the Wisconsin market.

1995
Tony Wick joins his brothers and parents at Tech Electric. Using his experience as Service Technician and Engineer at Electrical Technology Services and Westinghouse Engineering, TEC starts offering engineering services and power studies.

1997
TEC relocates its warehouse and offices to N. 132nd St in Butler, WI to allow for continuous growth.

2024
TEC Celebrates its 40 year anniversary!
